I think because she is fasinated by China and feels China would give something new to her. I believe coming to terms with my own cultural identity is important. This is because people are made up of own history, for example their family, friends, interests and so on. Then, cultural identity is very important for them, of course.

  2. While My mother is Japanese, My father is Korean who was born is Japan, so our lifestyle is a little different from ordinary Japanese one in many ways. Perhaps I also have a mix- clutural identity. However, we don't think we should just choose a culture. This is because both we as a Japanese and as a Korean are real. We think it is not us who have only Japanese aspects or Korean aspects. These two aspects make us up. We value both aspects. Therefore, she also don't have to just choose one culture. She lead her life with her mix-culture aspects, because both have constituted her.

  3. It must be pretty interesting to have two culture identities, because one can selebrate holidays more than who know only one culture and know more than one way to look things from objective side. There must be many discover things to live with. Do you want to have two culture identities?
