Compared with the book about a long life of Japanese people, the article from textbook is more fundamental to live. I believe it is the most important thing is to live happily. Even if I live to 100 years old, there is no value unless I feel happy. That is why I think the article from textbook is more important than the book I read.

I think most Japanese people, including me, live a frugally. Of course Japan is one of the richest countries, so we spend much more money than people in developing countries. However, Japanese people use money frugally and carefully. Almost all Japanese family save money in their own bank. Moreover, I heard Japanese people have more savings than foreigner. That's why I believe we live a frugaler life than people in other countries.

I think because she is fasinated by China and feels China would give something new to her. I believe coming to terms with my own cultural identity is important. This is because people are made up of own history, for example their family, friends, interests and so on. Then, cultural identity is very important for them, of course.

1.I agree with this idea. Compared with another generations, I believe Millennial Generation has globallest perspective. For examle, there were many discrimination in race, sex, hometown and so on before. Of course there remain discrimination now, but I'm sure that those discrimination have decrease. Our generation is comparatively tough. We have a big desire to improve ourselves. Another gerenations often say that young pepole nowadays don't have any guts or patiences. However this is completely not true. Of course there are such people. But the number of such people is few. We want to try and get into a new world. We use the Inthernet to make friends all over the world. In the Internet, we communicate with people in regardless of their race, sex, hometown and so on. We have each intrerest. I think this is storonger than another generations' one. So, we don't care others' personal history. If others have same interests, we want to talk about them together all over the world. Therefore, I think Millennial Gerenation has a global perspective.

2. In reading English, it is important not to give up. I sometimes come across story which I cannot understand at all, but there is a key to comprehend for example conjuctions or paraphrases. So, I think it is important to keep reading until I find a hint.
3. I'd like to be able to read English newspaper or magazine without so much trouble.
